Commercial equipment / Buying guide

Commercial cryotherapy equipment, researched around the buying decision.

The chamber price is only one line in the budget. Opening the room, keeping the machine running and getting a technician on site when it fails can matter just as much. This guide helps you price and check all of it before you commit.

How to read the evidence labels

Prices, specifications and service terms change, so each one is shown with who published it and when we checked it. A manufacturer's specification describes that manufacturer's model, not the whole category. A dealer price is one dated observation, not a market average. Every calculated result shows its inputs and formula.

Four labels appear throughout the site.

Site planning

Check the room before you choose the machine

Delivery route, electrical service, heat rejection or gas storage can rule out a model before price even matters. The site checklist turns the chosen model's written requirements into questions for your landlord, contractors and supplier. Generic room advice never overrides the current installation manual or local code.

Choose your starting point

Start with the question you need answered first.

01

I am choosing an equipment type

Whole-body chambers, localized systems, cryofacial devices and cryolipolysis platforms share the word "cryo" but do different jobs. Start by deciding which job you need done.

02

I need a realistic budget

Begin with dated public prices, then add freight, site work, training, service, electricity or nitrogen, insurance and financing. Any cost a supplier hasn't confirmed stays marked as unknown rather than zero.

03

I am preparing a room

Turn the chosen model's requirements into specific questions for your landlord, electrician, HVAC contractor, fire authority and supplier.

Requirements brief

Write down what the equipment must do

The brief below turns your plans into a document a supplier can answer line by line: what the equipment has to do, which room and staff it must fit, what each quote includes, what the site needs and which claims are still unconfirmed.

Fill in what you know and write "unknown" for the rest. You can download it as a text file, or as a supplier request that lists the open questions.

Your notes stay on this page. Download them before you refresh or leave; nothing is sent or saved automatically. Please don't enter personal, customer or medical information.

Copy and download need JavaScript. You can still write in these fields and select their text to copy manually. The written guidance on this page remains available without the tool.

Questions to close before paying a deposit

A list of documents and answers to collect - not an installation or operating procedure. The details depend on the exact equipment and territory.

Ask the supplier

  • Identify the exact model, revision, included options and intended use in the installation country.
  • Provide a dated itemized quote with validity, taxes, freight, payment milestones, cancellation terms and acceptance criteria.
  • Provide the exact model manual and written site requirements, not a generic sales brochure.
  • State commissioning, training, warranty exclusions, spare-parts availability and service coverage in your territory.

Check the site and local requirements

  • Ask the landlord and qualified local specialists what permits, utilities, access and occupancy constraints apply to this specific installation.
  • Obtain a site survey and quotations for excluded site work before committing to the machine.
  • Confirm who approves the completed installation and what evidence of acceptance will be retained.

Check the service and commercial terms

  • Identify who supplies consumables and who responds to equipment faults in the installation territory.
  • Confirm parts, labor, travel, after-hours support, response targets and costs after warranty in writing.
  • For finance or rental, record total payments, fees, title, buyout, early termination and return obligations.
  • Keep unanswered questions assigned to a named party; do not infer agreement from silence.

Current research coverage

The research set covers electric and nitrogen whole-body systems from Artica Systems, CryoBuilt, Cryo Innovations, CRYONiQ, MECOTEC, Cryomed and CRYO Science. Coverage is uneven: a model can be in the set and still lack a confirmed price, installation manual, warranty detail or US service commitment. Those gaps are shown, not filled in.

No product is placed higher because it pays a commission. If a commercial relationship is ever approved, it will be disclosed next to the relevant link and on the affiliate disclosure page.

A practical order of work

For a new location or an expansion, this order avoids most expensive surprises.

  1. Write the requirements brief.
  2. Choose the equipment type.
  3. Shortlist models that fit the room and your staffing.
  4. Send every supplier the same quote worksheet.
  5. Walk the site checklist with local contractors.
  6. Run the cost and cash-flow scenarios with confirmed numbers.
  7. List what is still unresolved before you sign.
