Direct answer

Published examples: Artica Element at USD 75,998, CRYONiQ XC from USD 36,750, and Everest calculator references of USD 115,500 for Essential and USD 135,500 for Elite. They are different kinds of price for different systems - an advertised price, a starting price and a calculator reference - so they don't line up directly. The Vortex page shows both USD 97,498 and USD 97,998, and only a written quote will settle which applies.

The Element, Vortex, CRYONiQ catalog and Everest figures below were checked October 6, 2026; Ethos dates from October 1. None of them is an installed project total or a market average. This page tracks where each price came from; the cost guide adds site work and ownership costs.

Financing examples belong in a separate payment schedule. Everest's advertised starting payment doesn't replace the calculator reference or a cash offer, and an announced future product isn't evidence of current stock.

03

Why the cheapest visible number may cost more

The equipment line is only one of many: freight, rigging, site work, electrical upgrades, ventilation or gas controls, commissioning, training, tax, software, consumables, preventive maintenance and service travel all need their own line. A monthly payment can't be compared with a cash price until you know the term, deposit, fees, rate, residual and purchase option.

05

Why some prices are missing

Many suppliers don't publish prices, and "quote only" is a legitimate finding in its own right. We don't replace it with an estimate dressed up as fact. Coverage of other equipment categories and suppliers grows only as comparable public prices appear.

06

Keep revisions instead of silently averaging them

For each quote, record the seller, quote number, revision, expiry, configuration, market, source and whether it was accepted. If a revised quote changes one amount, keep the earlier row and note the change. Don't average two conflicting figures from one page, and don't apply a future catalog announcement to a model that's available now.

Two prices only become comparable once equipment scope and excluded work are aligned. A complete price ledger can still end with "installed total unknown"; the installation responsibility matrix helps you assign the missing work.

07

Sources and limitations

Official sources checked October 6, 2026: CRYONiQ US catalog, Everest, Artica Element, Vortex and MECOTEC US cost guide. The Element price also appears in Artica's operating-cost guide. The Ethos comparison keeps its October 1 check.

A date shows when a price was observed, not how long it stays valid. Supplier prices change, and package-level details can carry different document dates. Ask for a quote with an expiry date, currency, tax treatment, configuration, delivery address and exclusions. These records are neither independent price measurements nor binding offers.
