Direct answer
Both are electric whole-body chambers, but you can't compare their prices like for like yet. The Vortex page shows two different prices. Everest's features depend on the package, and its public numbers are a finance teaser and calculator reference prices rather than an installed quote. Check that your site can take each chamber and pin down the exact package, then send both suppliers the same request for delivered cost and service.
Matched evidence
| Field | Artica Vortex | CryoBuilt Everest |
|---|---|---|
| Cooling and format | Electric, enclosed | Electric, enclosed |
| Stated capacity | One person | Manufacturer describes one to two or more, exact operating configuration requires clarification |
| Public price state | USD 97,498 in introduction; USD 97,998 in purchase block | Calculator references: Essential USD 115,500; Elite USD 135,500; current quoted scope required |
| Financing example | From USD 1,700 per month | From USD 2,000 per month |
| Power evidence | 208-240 V, 60 Hz; MCA 50.1 A single phase or 24.9 A three phase | Ambiguous 230vp3h, 70amps publication; exact voltage/phase/frequency drawing required |
| Footprint evidence | 50 x 50 x 98 inch chamber plus control and outdoor units | 9 x 4.5 x 3 feet stated for chamber plus CryoBrain, orientation requires confirmation |
| Warranty evidence | Lifetime compressor plus 12-month language; exact scope requires contract | Essential: 1 year; Elite: 2 years; full coverage requires contract |
| Critical installation gap | Final contractor and outdoor-unit scope | Ventilation, working clearance and full site package |
What the public numbers cannot decide
- Monthly payments can't be compared without the term, deposit, rate, fees and who owns the chamber at the end.
- Equipment dimensions are not room requirements.
- Capacity wording doesn't tell you how many sessions you can run in an hour.
- Warranty length doesn't show whether labor, travel, freight, refrigerant or downtime are covered.
Send both suppliers the same request
Ask each supplier for the exact configuration, cash price, freight, rigging, site work, electrical one-line requirement, environmental limits, condenser or heat-rejection plan, commissioning, training, warranty, preventive maintenance, software fees, the local technician, where parts are held, the response target and customer references in your region.
Fit-based preliminary reading
For a single-user project, Vortex publishes clearer electrical options, but its price needs reconciling. If you're considering sessions with more than one person, ask CryoBuilt which Everest package applies and to demonstrate the real operating sequence. Neither the public capacity figures nor a warranty headline settles delivered cost, local service or permission to operate.
A matched demonstration request
Give both suppliers the same expected customer volume, staffed hours, peak queue and room constraints. Ask them to show preparation, entry, exposure, exit, cleaning, recovery and any pause between cycles, and record completed exposures, people per exposure and total elapsed time separately.
Two supplier-specific checks: for Everest, reconcile the Elite package's 100+ sessions/day statement with the calculator table's figure of up to 460. For Vortex, keep the space for the chamber, control engine and outdoor unit separate. Neither a product-card dimension nor a maximum sessions/day figure settles the real operating layout.
Pair every open item with a named question for the supplier and the document that would close it. Then move to the installation responsibility matrix and the same-scope quote comparison.
